Re 420 for Trainsimulator 2015 | Progress Update

Hi there!

The work on the Re 420 pack is going well. I have now 8 versions ready with the TEE version under construction. Licensing on the BLS and Crossrail versions is requested. I hope that will be finalized soon so I can add them to the Platinum Pack.

With all exteriors and the basic cab 90% ready I will now focus on physics and sound. Scripting is much like the scripting on the Re 620. Animated mirrors, ZUB, Wachsamkeitskontrolle (SBB Distance Sifa), pantoarcing during winterseason and moving rollo’s, custom lights, pantochoice and wipers like in the Re 620. I will include some Re 10/10 QD consists that you can use when you own both the Re 620 and Re 420 Packs. There will be a 421 (cargo) version with PZB later. This version needs another cab and I will first release the Pack without it.

The Indusi (INTEGRA) acknowledge actuator has a blinking light inside. I have some SBB cab ride videos, but never saw and “SIFA” signal or light or sound during locomotive run.
The only sound emitted was from the Indusi when passing a advanced restriction magnet, the driver acknowledge by turning the rotary know and the inside white light blinking for additional 5 seconds.
The electronic service timetable is today displayed on the Samsung 10.1″ tablet and it looks very differently (in colors) of yours.

Adam, thank you for your reaction. I will check the behaviours of the warning systems again to make sure it’s like the real thing. The timetables should come up as about 90% white but obviously could vary in color depending on screen(settings). The used capturing software has a tendency to have flaws in both framerate and color representation. Furthermore the 420 has been updated after these (WIP) videos were made. I will make a new video showing all functionallity soon when it’s ready.
