SBB CFF FFS Re 421 for TS 2015/16

UPDATE VERSION V 2.0

With the 2.0 update some things will drastically change…

Engines:

  • Added winterversion (Re 421 374)
  • Updated step-switch (Stufenschalter) to have real-life functionality
  • Various small texture and model changes
  • Improved ZUB system (still not 100% due to route-limitations)
  • Removed LZB override which caused issues and was not a needed functionality

Filesystem:

From this update onwards all CreativeworX assets will be placed in the following file structure:

2016-01-17 20_03_11-CreativeworX

In Assets you will find a folder named CreativeworX. In that folder you will find the various engines under their respective namings.

This looks as follows in the scenario editor:

2016-01-17 20_07_56-Train Simulator 2016

You can now activate CwX assets by engine type and therefore not use up valuable system memory loading ALL CwX assets at once.

This new structure will unfortunately brake all references to the Re 421 (in this case)  that you might have set up in scenarios because you need to uninstall your old version to not end up with double entries. There is a way around this problem which I will explain in another post later.

The Re 421 Pack details

      Hi Leandro,

After the Re 421 I will first make the IC2000 wagons. After that maybe..

Nach die Re 421 mache ich erstmal die IC 2000 Wagen. Nachher vielleicht..

        Hi Paul

Very nice screenshots of the Re 421!

If you are making the IC 2000, would it be possible to do the IC Bt (the cabcar for the EW IV) too?

          Hi Jan,

The IC 2000 Bt cabcar will be included, not the IC Bt. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First focus is Re 421 😉

      Hello Paul,

The installation program is incorrect. The manuals are installed in subdirectories Assets.

      Greetings from Italy.

        Hi Ada,

This is not an error but by design. They are easier to find this way.

        Kind regards,
        Paul

    Hi Paul

I just wanted to ask if you are going to make two versions of the Re 421 as AI-engine, one with the raised SBB pantograph and one with the raised DB/ÖBB pantograph? It would be very nice, because in one of my scenarios, a EuroCity with a Re 421 will meet the player-train between Bregenz and Lindau (ÖBB/DB section).

I just saw a Re 421 (they aren’t common around here, there are more Re 4/4 II (Re 420) and Re 4/4 III (Re 430) that come with freight trains over the Gotthard) 😀

Thank you very much for your awesome work!

    Greetings from Switzerland
