TS2015 | Siemens BR182 VVO repaint (HRQ ES64U2) – Discontinued!

This repaint is not available anymore.

A member of railsim.de (BR185 Drehstromer) requested a repaint for HRQ’s ES64U2 in VVO livery. VVO is the public transport company in Dresden Germany. Because I had no good, high res pictures of this engine I had to create most artwork myself which made this quite a lengthy project. More pictures in the <ALBUM>.

Although creating things for Trainsimulator is a hobby and all hobbies cost money, I feel that the time has come to start selling some of my work instead of offering everything as freeware. The software I use and hosting this website are all not for free and the creation of driveable engines is even more expensive because I need 3D software and licenses etc. It is not my objective to get rich doing this but I at least would like to bring my costs down by selling my work. I hope you can understand..

This is why the VVO Taurus is now available for download in the SHOP. The DBdpza passengerwagon is freeware and can be downloaded <HERE>

Why you don`t make the VVO Repaint for the STW(Steuerwagen)? Then I can use the Repaint on the S-Bahn Dresden.

      Dear Clemens,

As mentioned in the description it turned out to be impossible to make a repaint of the Metronom STW because of the way it is mapped. Even the VVO wagon is not 100% correct because of this limitation.

GBE’s Dresden-Schöna route has a working STW and various wagons. You can put the Taurus repaint in the consist instead of the BR101.
